 This month finds us celebrating the presentatlon of a $10,000 check to the Ventura College Foundation, which will be matched by the Foundation to create a Westside Scholarship Endowment of $20,000 to benefit Westside students attending Ventura College. Many people came together to make this happen and I am grateful to all of you that supported this worthwhile goal. Educational opportunities are the stepping stones to having good choices in life and we, as a community, owe it to our youth for them to have those choices. We will not have a July meeting due to the week of July 4th so our next meeting will be August 6th. We plan to conduct another neighborhood cleanup in August, so watch for more information on the time and place. |

 The Westside Community Council is a group of dedicated volunteers that live or work in the area known as the Westside.
